Feeding Schedule Made Simple: Nourish Your Plants for SuccessUpdated 4 months ago

If you are growing cannabis, it is important to know that your plants need three major nutrients: Nitrogen (N), Potassium (K) and Phosphorus (P). Nitrogen helps the leaves develop, and Potassium helps with the general health of the plant, Phosphorus is needed for the flowers, seeds and roots to develop. As cannabis plants can be quite sensitive to nutrients, it is important to feed the plants the correct nutrients at each stage of the grow.

How Do I Use My Fertilizer?

  • Always test your pH before adding Bergman's Plant Food. The ideal pH is between 6.0 and 7.0.

  • Dissolve the nutrient powders in room temperature tap water (20ºC / 68ºF)

  • Use half the amount of nutrients if you are growing autoflowering plants.

  • Stir well and adjust to the optimum pH value if needed

  • Be sure to consult our guides section to learn more general information about feeding your plants

  • Check out our Nutrient section to troubleshoot any problems regarding nutrients.

  • Do not overfeed the plants as this can lead to nutrient burn, which is harmful to pot plants.

  • Flush the plants with pure water, two weeks before harvesting to remove leftover nutrient buildup from the roots, for a better taste and smoother smoke.
